Communication and Website Resources
The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences’ Office of Marketing and Communications assists external media, faculty, and staff with communication services including: press releases, publications, web sites, video, and social networking. Our role is to offer professional creative guidance to departments and programs while maintaining the brand standards of the institution.
All projects must adhere to WVU brand standards and be reviewed by this office before they can be released.

To design a print piece, please contact Devon Copeland. There is a cost associated with printed pieces, budget approval from the Department chair is required before production can begin.
Print pieces take four to 12 weeks to create depending on their size and complexity. Please contact the office well in advance of your planned project to ensure you have enough time to meet your desired printing and mailing deadlines.
All print pieces must adhere to WVU branding standards.
Events and Press Releases
To submit information for a press release, please contact Devon Copeland. Release information should include the five Ws: who, what, when, where, why, as well as any costs associated with an event.
Please contact the office two weeks in advance of any event for which you desire press coverage. If your event requires the design of a web page and/or registration features, please contact the office at a minimum of four weeks before the event date to ensure enough time for development.
The Office of Communications and Marketing has some photos available in its archive. Contact Rebecca Herod to discuss your needs. Additionally, there are many images available for purchase from WVU Photography, visit the gallery to see if what you need is already there.
WVU Photography can shoot your event or to take special shots for brochures, newsletters, and websites. They can shoot at your location or you can come to the studio for portraits and passport photos.
There is a cost associated with photo shoots and image processing, budget approval from the Department chair is required before production can begin.
To design a faculty, department, program, or grant web page, or to receive help with an existing page, please contact the Eberly College Web Designer.
All pages must adhere to web accessibility guidelines and WVU branding standards.
For video services, please contact WVU Television Production Services (TVP). There is a cost associated with video productions, budget approval from the Department chair is required before video production can be requested.
Contact the TVP office well in advance of your scheduled video project to get your event on the production calendar and to ensure enough time for your pre-production planning.
